My style of senior portraiture strives to break free of the cliche that has been attached to senior photography for many years. You will not be leaning out from behind a birch tree in any of my portraits, nor will you be holding a flower or leaning against a wagon wheel. I approach all of my shoots as if they were a fashion shoot. I look for modern or artistic settings, and I pose my subjects in more contemporary ways.

 

I’m not against traveling to a beach to take advantage of the beautiful late afternoon light, or driving an hour or two to a place of a client’s choosing. In the end, you don’t look like every other senior in every other senior picture, you look confident, refined, beautiful and ready to face today’s modern world.
